Pam Granger Gale

Pam Granger Gale remains a National Board Certified Elementary art teacher, a profession she has held and loved for thirty one years. After retiring in 2016, Pam developed a vision for taking teaching to a new level and sharing her knowledge of papermaking and marbling, two ancient methods of creating useful items.

Pam discovered papermaking back in 1982 with a friend. She has gained years of experience through the papermaking process to create lamps, wedding invitations and hand bound journals. She studied under Peter Sowiski at the prestigious Penland School of Crafts, and Frank Brannon, of Virginia.

Marbling came into her life in 1988 at a short one time workshop. She taught marbling classes to world traveled tourists and residents at an art center on Hilton Head Island, SC which she was the director. She built a loyal client base with many returning year after year. She continues to perfect her technique with classes instructed by Ginny Moreland, Anne Murray, Judith Beers, and Dan and Regina St. Johns.

Pam is using lifelong experiences to create a 'majikal' experience here in Asheville. Read more here.
