I have been a huge shell lover since family trips to Florida in the 1960’s!! On a recent trip to the South Carolina coast, my artistic eye caught view of these beauties. Totally worn down and etched by an unknown creature, I loved the black lines with the raised orange and pearly white colors of the remaining shell.

There is a marbling pattern called the storemont or shell which looks very similar to Mother Nature’s creations. I was inspired to try replicating it on a marbling tank. I wanted to change the colors from orange and black, Halloween colors,  to more springy hues.

So, my take was to drop black,  purple,  yellow, orange tones on the edges last.  In the long middle,  I dropped orange and two different purples, then drawing a gelget pattern. Finally,  a wild hair took hold and I placed single drops down the middle.

Wear the beauty of these shells with strength and wisdom!
