The ancient art of marbling is inspiring by itself. Watching the floating paint over the years has led me to create “spontaneous” designs and patterns, however, my back knowledge of the process has informed me in the best designs, like gelget, to create a beautiful scarf.
While creating this scarf, I dropped these colors which I had left over from another project. I was enjoying the whole process, adding orange as an accent color, which turned out making the whole scarf look like a a koi pond originally brought to life by Claude Monet.
The pattern is linear with the length of the scarf. Look for the hints of orange, representing the koi-goldfish. The colors precisely chosen create the best accent for multiple outfits which you are skillful at assembling.
The scarf is 22” x 72” of habotai silk, a very light weight to wear year round.
Therefore, spontaneously wrap this beauty around your neck in the holidays or any season you choose.
